Whilst doing this research I have decided to come up with my own written language using our pre-existing knowledge of symbols as a bases. I want to base mine on the structure of hieroglyphics and the thought behind Chinese writing. I like how hieroglyphics are contained in quite a ridged structure and also how the pictures of objects maintain the look of the objects they are trying to portray. In the Chinese writing I like how one symbol is made up of parts of others and this in turn explains something about the word they are creating. I will try and take both of these elements into my work.
