Reading Week Project

This is the sort of visual material I have been using to form my final piece. I think I will do it on a very old stain sort of paper. I am going to try and use black ink with a quill or stick. I want it to have quite a spidery quality once finished. I like the bottom image that I have picked out but I would like my own mark making to be bolder as I think  this better captures a frustrated angry sadness that I got from the text.

Reading Week Project

I have been having very bad luck in buying "Wise Blood" it keeps getting lost in the post. So as time is short I have decided to focus on one of the pieces of writing available online. I will use " Uses of Solitude". I have decided to focus on the poem about a nightingale so I am going to do some research around that. I think I am aiming for a static piece and possibly non computer based as my work up till now has been solely computerised.
